Local Rules

 

 

 

 

U.S.G.A. RULES APPLY ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING LOCAL RULES:

 

  • You may drop away from all paved cart paths, active ant beds, french drains, ground under repair, ruts made by carts and equipment (one club length, nearest point of relieve, no closer to the hole).

 

  • Out-of-Bounds: Defined by white stakes, private fences, and paved roads.  Any ball crossing a paved road defined as Out-of-Bounds and comes to rest beyond that road is Out-of-Bounds, even though it may lie on another part of the course.

 

  • Sprinkler heads and yardage markers are measured to the center of the green.

 

  • Flowerbeds that are surrounded by a stone border or by a cart path are ground under repair and play from them is prohibited.  No relief is granted from mulched areas.

 

  • "Sprinkler Head Rule":  You are allowed to take free relief from immovable obstructions on your line of play when the obstruction is within two club lengths of the putting green, and also within two club lengths of your ball.  

 

  • Signature Course:  Any ball coming to rest within the "Crossroads" area must take relief (free relief, no penalty) nearest point of relieve, no nearer the hole

 

  • Signature Course:  Any shot coming to rest to the left of the cart path on hole #17, while playing hole #16 is out of bounds.

 

  • Embedded Rocks:  Any shot coming to rest within the closely mown area on or near embedded rocks that could cause you or your club damage may be moved to your nearest point of relief no closer to the hole. 

 

  • Flintrock: Any ball coming to rest in a gravel area is allowed to take free relief. You must take full relief from the area plus one club length no closer to the hole.
